Specials | Network Aandacht voor Echt

What does "Aandacht voor Echt" mean?

"Aandacht voor Echt" (AvE) can best be translated into "Authenticity". Literally, it translates into something like "Attention for Truth".

Network

The AvE Network focuses on enhancing authenticity in people's personal and professional lives by stimulating dialogue, authentic communication and self-awareness. To achieve this, various workshops and trainings are organised around authenticity and related themes, inspired and facilitated by Marieke de Vrij.

Members

Members range from business owners, directors, managers, independent consultants to coaches and trainers etc. What we share is that everyone is highly motivated to promote authenticity in themselves and their workplace, be that the profit or non-profit sector.

Membership

You can join when an existing member invites you and/or after meeting with one of the organising teams. As of 2009, working in close cooperation with Foundation Het Vrije Veld, masterclasses around specific themes are hosted (e.g. Coaching & Training, Spiritual Leadership, Education, Cultural Diversity etc). These are open to both the network as well as specialists in the field.

AvE and Me

AvE started in 2004. From 2005 - 2010, I was both an active member and one of the 12 core members that organised the 2-day workshops held 4 times a year. In 2009, I supported the Foundation as Secretary of the Board. AvE played an important role in my personal and spiritual development and has enriched me tremendously. It was a joy to return some of that inspiration by being a volunteer!
