Everyone knows about the phenomenon of the Bucket List. And if you do not. Go find out. Start here and have fun. This is not about my Bucket List. I never created one. As in writing one down. Literally. Today, it’s about My Gratitude List. There is a simple reason today is about gratitude. I feel grateful. I had a wonder-full day. I shared my day with 6 other wonder-full people. And I feel grateful for it. The power of gratitude is amazing. It humbles. It opens the heart. My heart.
Let’s start with a poem.
By this wonderful poet called e.e. cummings.
I thank You God for this most amazing
i thank You God for most this amazing
day:for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky; and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes
(i who have died am alive again today,
and this is the sun’s birthday; this is the birth
day of life and of love and wings: and of the gay
great happening illimitably earth)
how should tasting touching hearing seeing
breathing any–lifted from the no
of all nothing–human merely being
doubt unimaginable You?
(now the ears of my ears awake and
now the eyes of my eyes are opened)
Did you notice by the way, that there are only 2 capital letters in this poem?
