Does one need a model to go to work, execute projects, manage people and pay the bills? No. However, I like to use this particular model to show that transformation management is all about:
Creation
Doing the right things - high quality process & project managment
North
Realisation
Getting the results you want and need
West
Sensation
Creating and maintaining an inspirational company culture
South
Inspiration
Knowing who you are, your identity, mission, vision & core values
Traditional management versus modern day required leadership:
Management
Quality, process and project management
CSFs, KPIs, Balance Scorecards and SLAs
EBITDAs, market share and profitability
North
West
Logical, Rational, Facts & Figures
Leadership
Having a clear mission and vision
Living and breathing company values
Cultivating an inspirational culture
Making sure individuals and teams can excel
South
East
Emotional, Sensing, Intuitive
Transformation Management
Transformation

e.g. Introducing dialogue (SE) into process & project management (NW)
